This talk will explain how clever algorithms support monitoring of non-financial risks in large financial institutions.

Michael Amrein built up the unit to validate Artificial Intelligence & Compliance models from scratch to now fifty people and worked for more than a decade at UBS in various roles in model development and validation. He holds a PhD in Statistics and a MSc in Mathematics, both from ETH Zurich, and is a fully qualified actuary of the Swiss Actuarial Association.
