James Gifford
is Managing Director, Head of Sustainable & Impact Advisory and Thought Leadership at Credit Suisse, working with the bank’s clients and advisors to mobilize capital into impact investing. He also teaches a program at Harvard and the University of Zurich on impact investing for the next generation of ultra-high net worth family members.
He was the founding Executive Director of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment and led the organization from inception in 2003 until 2013. Other roles include Head of Impact Investing at UBS and Director of Impact at TAU Investment Management. James has published numerous articles and book chapters on responsible investment, and has a PhD from the University of Sydney on the effectiveness of shareholder engagement in improving corporate behavior.
Michael Taschner
ist Executive Director, Head of ESG Advisory at S&P Global Market Intelligence in Zürich. Vorher war er Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung der SwissQuant Group AG, verantwortlich für die Division Sustainable Finance. Davor arbeitete während 10 Jahren bei PwC in verschiedenen Funktionen, u.a. zum Thema Sustainable Finance. Er verfasst seine Doktorarbeit zur Methodologie und Beurteilung der ESG Konformität von Firmen und Projekten.
